The fourth round of the Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland took place at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben.
This year, the Förch Racing by Atlas Ward team has been unbeatable in the Porsche Endurance Challenge endurance race series. After Janusz Szymański and Daan Arrow triumphed in the opening race of the season in the 2d class for the latest Porsche 911 GT3 Cup generation 992, Mariusz Górecki and Tomasz Magdziarz won the next two races.
During the fourth round of the season, the crew racing with number 7 was again on track for victory. Magdziarz delivered a phenomenal start, advancing from fifth to first position within two laps, and then pulling away from the rest of the field at an increasingly faster pace, building a lead of over 20 seconds. After the driver change, Mariusz Górecki was on his way to a podium finish. However, near the end of the race, he was illegally pushed off by a competitor and ultimately crossed the finish line just off the podium.
In the Porsche Sprint Challenge GT4, the best representative of Förch Racing by Atlas Ward was Arkadiusz Grycz, who finished sixth on Saturday and ninth on Sunday. Wojciech Karwan finished eighth in both races.
