Atlas Ward took part in Data Center Nation Warsaw 2025, one of the leading industry events bringing together experts from across the digital infrastructure, technology, and business sectors. The conference focused on the future of data centre development, innovation, sustainability, and the growing role of Poland within the European digital infrastructure landscape.
During the event, Atlas Ward co-hosted the panel discussion “Poland’s Industrial DNA – Skills, Supply Chain and Talent Powering Data Centre Innovation”. Representing Atlas Ward, Michał Wójcicki joined industry experts Rahim Nanji from 1911 Datacentres, Andrzej Deneka from GreenScale, and Tomasz Łosek from Turner & Townsend Poland to discuss the key factors shaping the future of data centre delivery in Poland.
The discussion highlighted how Poland’s strong industrial and engineering heritage is evolving to support the increasing scale and complexity of hyperscale investments. Particular attention was given to the importance of a mature local supply chain, supported by integrated MEP and energy expertise, which helps reduce delivery risks and minimise dependence on imported resources.
The panel also addressed the growing importance of talent development and upskilling in response to the rapid expansion of the data centre sector. Polish engineers and technical specialists are increasingly recognised across Europe for their expertise, experience, and ability to deliver highly complex infrastructure projects.
Another key topic of the discussion was the energy transition and the role of investment incentives in strengthening Poland’s position as a credible and sustainable partner for hyperscale operators in the years ahead.
The discussion was moderated by Marynet Bassily and the NexConnect Hub team, whose contribution helped create a valuable and engaging exchange of industry perspectives.
Events such as Data Center Nation demonstrate how collaboration, technical expertise, and innovation are driving the continued growth of digital infrastructure across Poland and Europe.
