Expansion of the Eberspaecher production plant in Godzikowice near Oława is now underway. As the general contractor, Atlas Ward Polska is comprehensively responsible for the project under the “design and build” model.

Eberspaecher is a German manufacturer of parking heaters and air conditioning. As one of the leaders in the automotive industry they provide modern technological solutions, which are widely used by the world’s biggest automotive companies. They boast over 80 locations in 29 countries, including a modern factory for car heaters and air conditioning in Lower Silesia. Atlas Ward Polska was chosen for its expansion, the completion of which is planned for July 2021.

Expansion of an operational factory

The responsibilities of the Atlas Ward Polska team are divided into four phases: multi-discipline design, factory expansion, relocation of the technology park to a new facility and modernisation of the existing production building. The design work and preparations for commencing with construction of the new facility and the extension of the office and social building have been completed. Work on the new facilities will be carried out without interfering with the ongoing operations of the Godzikowice plant.

The official launching of construction works and signing of the groundbreaking plaque by representatives of Eberspaecher, local authorities and Atlas Ward Poland took place at the end of November.
