The Autoliv factory in Jelcz-Laskowice has been handed over to the investor earlier than previously assumed in the initial schedule. The fastest construction team in Poland has once again showed that it has no intention of slowing down.
The expansion was carried out by Atlas Ward Polska as the general contractor. Our job was to construct a building in the Autoliv industrial complex, together with accompanying infrastructure and 15 000 sqm of surrounding area. The new 11 000 sqm building will house a laboratory, office and social facilities, as well as storage space. This is our second project for Autoliv in the past few years.
The investor is a Swedish company, a global leader in designing and supplying automotive solutions aimed at increasing driver safety. Autoliv products are used by renowned brands, such as: Opel, Mercedes and Volkswagen. The Jelcz-Laskowice plant manufactures airbag and seat belt modules. Autoliv has eighty factories across the globe, including two in Poland – in Jelcz-Laskowice and Oława.
