We are proud to have become a member of the Polish Green Building Council PLGBC. This is yet another step in the development of Atlas Ward Polska’s activities in the field of environmentally-friendly construction, meeting the highest international standards.

PLGBC, or the Polish Green Building Council, is a non-governmental organisation operating in Poland since 2008. The Polish branch of the World Green Building Council federation is one of over 70 organisations from around the world working together for the development of sustainable construction.

The organisation’s aim is to popularise and implement environmentally-friendly building methods, which at the same time allow for achievable economic benefits. By conducting wide-scale educational activities, it aims to spread access to knowledge and technology as well as exchange ideas between various industry entities. It brings together architects, construction companies, material producers, developers, the academic community as well as government and local government institutions in order to lead – by undertaking many joint initiatives – to the transformation of the construction environment on many levels.

Atlas Ward Polska, from the initial stages of a new investment, selects optimal solutions in line with the principles of sustainable construction. These are related to the well-being category, a measurable reduction in building operating costs, as well as caring for the environment. We use materials and technology in line with the Sustainable Procurement Plan, and equip our facilities e.g. with water and energy saving devices. We are actively working to increase the share of renewable energy sources, which is why photovoltaic installations play an important role in our projects.
