We took full supervision over the implementation of City Flex Wrocław Airport in the “Design and Build” model. This is the sixth building as part of the third joint project with the logistics developer 7R S.A., which we run in the general contracting system.
The new City Flex high-bay warehouse will be built at Graniczna Street in the south of Wrocław, next to the Airport (Lotnisko) junction on the Wrocław motorway bypass. The location is not accidental. It results from the last mile logistics concept, according to which 7R plans to create a network of warehouse facilities within key agglomerations in Poland.
Warehouse in the BTS system
The building with an area of 10,500 m2 will be distinguished by its above-average height and increased floor strength (up to 10.4 tons of load). The building will be adapted for storage and light production. We already know the first tenant. Nearly 4,000 m2 will be developed by PIKA Sp. z o.o. – a leader in modern outsourcing of services in the area of managing documents entrusted by clients. Storage space for PIKA Sp. z o.o. was designed in the BTS system, using the “high bay” technology. It was adjusted to the restrictive standards of the document storage process.
Comprehensive general contracting
The implementation of the investment in the “Design and Build” model will enable quick and efficient work and eliminate inaccuracies that often appear at the interface between architectural and executive designs. The implementation is covered by the ecological BREEAM certification at the Very Good level. Construction works will be completed in the first quarter of 2021.
