The new warehouse and logistics facility is the third investment completed under contract with the global leader in tyre manufacturing.
We have carried out the investment at the Bridgestone production plant in Stargard as the general contractor in the “Design and Build” system – from the multi-sector design through the investment implementation to putting the facility into use. The new facility is a Distribution Centre for industrial tyres to EMIA markets, and its integration into the supply chain will optimise Bridgestone’s logistic processes in this segment.
Building on a living organism
The warehouse has an area of approximately 15,000 m2. It was connected to the existing plant with two dedicated technical passageways. We have also built access roads, car parks and manoeuvring yards in the immediate vicinity of the facility. The construction works were carried out in a way that did not interfere with internal production processes and delivery logistics.
Trust in business
This is the third project that has been completed jointly by Atlas Ward Polska and Bridgestone. – In less than 3 years, the Investor entrusted us with the general contracting of, among others, new vulcanisation buildings, tyre testing facilities, warehouse and forklift truck maintenance buildings – says Wojciech Tomaszewski, Director of the Szczecin Division of Atlas Ward Polska. – In total, we have put into use nearly 30 000 m2 of modern usable space at the Bridgestone factory in Stargard – he adds.
